Richard Black is the director of Territory Loans. He is an accredited mortgage broker and is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and PLAN Australia. He has completed a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management).
Richard has lived in Alice Springs since 2001 when he established Territory Loans. Richard has won many awards during his broking career including:
- PLAN Australia Excellence In Finance Gold Award 2015.
- PLAN Australia Sales Excellence Award 2013.
- PLAN Australia Platinum status - ranking as the highest achieving broker in the Northern Territory for 2012.
- PLAN Australia Diamond Sales Master Award – for consistently placing within the top 15 mortgage brokers in Australia for 2011.
- PLAN Australia Sales Excellence Award – for providing excellence in sales and service for 2011.
- PLAN Australia Diamond Broker Award – for being consistently within the top 15 mortgage brokers in Australia for 2009.
In 2011 Richard was also made a member of the PLAN Australia Hall of Fame, awarded for longevity and experience within the finance industry.
Richard is a keen golfer and mountain biker outside of work and is also a regular at the café on Saturday mornings.
