Territory Loans was the first Mortgage Broking business in Alice Springs, established in 2001 by the Managing Director, Richard Black.

Richard Black is the director of Territory Loans.  He is an accredited mortgage broker and is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and PLAN Australia.  He has completed a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management).

Richard has lived in Alice Springs since 2001 when he established Territory Loans.  Richard has won many awards during his broking career including:

• PLAN Australia Excellence In Finance Gold Award 2015.
• PLAN Australia Sales Excellence Award 2013.
• PLAN Australia Platinum status - ranking as the highest achieving broker in the Northern Territory for 2012.
• PLAN Australia Diamond Sales Master Award – for consistently placing within the top 15 mortgage brokers in Australia for 2011.
• PLAN Australia Sales Excellence Award – for providing excellence in sales and service for 2011.
• PLAN Australia Diamond Broker Award – for being consistently within the top 15 mortgage brokers in Australia for 2009.

In 2011 Richard was also made a member of the PLAN Australia Hall of Fame, awarded for longevity and experience within the finance industry.

Richard is a keen golfer and mountain biker outside of work and is also a regular at the café on Saturday mornings.

Angelique Glasson is an accredited mortgage broker and is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and PLAN Australia.  She has completed a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management).

Angelique has lived in Alice Springs since 1997 and commenced working at Territory Loans in 2008 after a 21 year career with NAB.  Angelique won the PLAN Australia CEO award for Sales and Excellence for SA and NT in 2009.  Angelique became a member of the PLAN Australia Hall of Fame in 2018, awarded for longevity and experience within the finance industry.

Angelique is passionate about helping people and outside of work she volunteers with a number of different organisations including Anglicare, Drovers, the Library, Palliative Care and is on the board of the Central Australian Women's Legal Service.  Angelique is married to John and has a son Ky who is in his final year of high school and when she is not volunteering she is watching Ky at his many sporting activities or reading.

Kerry Thompson is an accredited mortgage broker and is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and PLAN Australia.  She started with Territory Loans in 2012 as Personal Assistant and became accredited in 2016 after completing a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.

Kerry moved to Alice Springs with her husband and 3 daughters in 2012 and spent 8 years in Alice Springs and with Territory Loans.  Kerry and her family now reside in South Australia with Kerry working remotely alongside the Territory Loans Team.  She travels to Alice Springs for a number of work blocks each year.

Kerry is kept busy with her children’s many sporting activities, schooling and work commitments. She enjoys CrossFit and playing netball as well as camping and water sports on the beautiful Murray River.
